SMOKEY WARREN, “Eastern King of
Them All,” first saw daylight in Phoenix,
Arizona. Even as a small boy, he displayed
an avid love for music, Country style,
of course. He first made his professional
debut as “The Yodeling Cowboy” on a
Phoenix radio station. The next years
were hard-work years for Smokey, travel-
ing along the West Coast making many
appearances in clubs, theatres and radio
stations.
In his early years, Smokey decided to try
his luck in the New York area. Via radio
stations, theatres and clubs, he worked his
way East where he is now well established
in this field and still keeps riding the
trail of fame.
His unique presentation of Country and
Western material, plus his versatility and
showmanship has made him a hit with
radio, record, television and night club
audiences. Smokey is well known as a
great supporter — promoter — producer and
contributor to the Country Music image.
Smokey’s brother, Shorty Warren, has re-
tired and lives in Hollywood, Calif. This
team, Smokey and Shorty, were one of
thp hottest brother acts around.
Smokey is also boss-man of one of the
nations top Country and Western Show
and Dance Bands. He and his Mountain
Dew Boys, along with Dottie Mae, are
always in big demand and all are stars
in their own right. This is undoubtedly
one of the most entertaining, and balanced
C&W musical presentations. Their versa-
tility and showmanship ranges from
comedy, pantomine, singing and in-
strumental routines, and are one of the
most consistent box office attractions.
Smokey and his whole band feature Yam-

now appeared in many top C&W spots
throughout the U.S. and abroad.

albums of his own. A versatile performer
and a great singer. Plays bass and guitar.
DOTTIE - From Dupont, Pa. - A
multi-talented performer and sensational
singer and delivers most any type of song.
She has had many single record hits to
her credit. The tunes in this album are
just a few of her most requested songs.
Prior to joining the Warren show, she had
her own T.V. and radio show and was
associated with other top C&W bands.

Music” and can do some fine yodelin’.
