2 Deeds 1 dated 1901 & 2nd 1910 for 1 lot in Vinita Craig county Oklahoma

Interesting to study sale of one lot in Vinita Oklahoma.  First while still in Indian Territory and second a fresh statehood.  To Miller 1907 and to Mounts 1910.
While history shows that the Original Americans were granted land during the early 1900s to open up the Indian Territory for white settlement it also indicates that much of the awarded land was sold then to white land owners who put together huge land holdings as did the Mounts and Clements families.  These holding then became the source of huge cattle operations and very soon large oil fields.  This made the new owners very wealthy.
