8 KOREAN WAR Slides US Military Propaganda Leaflet Drop, Women Broadcasters 1952

Description

Eight color transparency photographs, each measuring approx. 23 mm. by 35 mm. in a cardboard mount measuring approx. 50 mm. square.
Each one has some handwritten captioning on its mount and each caption includes a date either in June or July of 1952. Here are the captions:
“Me and the two Korean voicecasters after we got down from demonstration. June 14, 1952.”
“Picture of me sitting in the cockpit of our plane while at Leopard Is. June 12, 1952.”
"Captain ‘Red’ Garrison flying C-47 during demonstration. Jun 14, 52”
“Korean girl as she was talking over speaker. June 14, 1952.”
“The two Korean girls who do the voice casting over loudspeaker under plane. They fly at 7000 feet and tell the communists to surrender. This was during demonstration, Jun14, 52.”
“Picture of me near the back door on a leaflet mission. Yeh – I know, I needed to shave. July 52.”
“Captain Han of Korean army & another Korean we call a ‘kicker’ because they throw out the leaflet bundles. July 52”
