    Description

    Up for sale Nice marked Darling, hallmarked baby rattle with built in whistle and nice mother of pearl handle  The rattle is hallmarked with I.S and has the lion Passat mark for sterling silver and also a small n hallmark.  Where the chain attachment was soldered onto the rattle it partially covers up part of the makers hallmark. I have some up close pics of the handle.  The yellow color is from my lighting in the pictures.  The rattle is in nice condition with some lite wear.  The rattle retains its original patina and has not been polished.  The rattle has a newer modern chain attached.  The chain is marked 925 sterling silver and is approx. 29" long so the piece can be worn as a pendant around your neck.  The rattle is 3 3/4" long and is 1 3/4" across the bells.  The handle is a 1 3/4" long.  Email me with any questions.  Thanks
