Large 3” Signed William Kerr Sterling Art Nouveau Swimming Siren Brooch

Offered for your consideration is this wonderful, sterling silver brooch by the William Kerr company. It depicts an Art Nouveau stylized woman swimming among the waves. The detail is outstanding, and once cleaned, it will be even better.
This William Kerr Sterling brooch is a full 3” long and is 1 & 7/8” wide at its widest point. This piece looks to be from the early 20th century kidding by the self locking clasp. Signed with Kerr’s hatchet cypher just above the Sterling mark and shape number.
In excellent “Uncleaned” original condition. One indentation on the chin area but outstanding beyond that. A fabulous piece of detailed art nouveau period work.
