    Description

This jacket was purchased here in Salt lake City during an estate sale from the son directly.
He said the father had served in Korea as a line officer in the infantry and that he was somewhere on the web reported that for some exploit but I couldn't find it.
The jacket is 100% original as purchased and as worn by the veteran along with the liner and it is a solid medium in size with the actual measurements as follows first with the armpits being 46 inches total and circumference on the outside of the garment. I say that because you have to ask for the bulk of the liner when seeing if this will fit you.
From the shoulder seam straight down to the armpit is 25 in so that means that it is a medium long in length and from the rear of the jacket measuring straight across from the rear seam nearly to the opposite one is 40 inches along that back panel.
The garment is combat dated as the 14th of January in 1952 with a September 21st pattern date of 1951.
The item is a good solid example and can easily be worn for many years to come.
This is a heavy solid garment and with a liner I'm sorry to say postage is exactly what it is in today's world it's not cheap but that's the postal service is problem not mine.
