    Description

    These are original GI Slings for the M-1 Garand and other US Rifles.  They are from the period of the Korean War through Viet Nam.  We purchased these slings over 40 years ago at a Spot Bid Sale at Anniston Army Depot and have had them ever since. The CMP was not located there during those days but Anniston was responsible for military
    refurbs at the time and much of the base was designated for this.  Some folks call these slings Nylon and some call them Polyester, but they are original  US GI Issue and we have seen the same coming from the CMP in recent years along with surplus M-1 Garands.  These are in perfect working order but they are not new.  If you own a post WWII or actually any M-1 Garand these would be correct for the rifle.
