RUSTIC MEN'S SHIRT
with flat faceplate
late 19th century in Linen
Men's shirt from the end of the 19th century with flat bib in white linen canvas.
The plastron is closed simply with three white buttons (photo 2).
The cuffs also close with a beige button (photo 4).
A small pleat under the back yoke (photo 6) ensures the garment is comfortable.
As usual, the shirt is very long but unlike usual, the rear panel is not longer than the front panel. Two slits separate the panels at the bottom. A small reinforcement triangle is added at the top of the slit to prevent tearing (photo 5).
