    Description

    Gr#5.420 Pt#2494739—This is a
    New Old Stock AXLE
    as found in Chevrolet dealers inventory some years back. 2494739 is painted on the Axle. GM Book shows it is
    correct for 1/2 –Ton Chevrolet Trucks 1965-66
    WITH LEAF SPRINGS
    on rear.
    It’s 29-5/8” overall length and for the left side; it is for a 6-hole wheel.
    I don’t know about GMC as I don’t have books those years on GMC. We all know GMC’s came with Leaf Springs & Chevrolet you had to order. They were really limited. 4-Wheel Drive probably had leafs on rear. Casting on end of axle 34059 & opposite that M W.  Anyway, it’s new & nice.
