    Description

    NOS Genuine Mopar
    Rear Axle
    U-BOLT Kit
    Genuine Mopar! Made in USA!
    Here's a set (all
    four
) of NOS genuine Mopar rear axle housing
    7"
U-bolts, P/N 3491296. Fits ALL E-bodies, Cuda and Challenger (ex. 7-1/4 axle), plus most Mopars with 8¼", 9¼", Dana 60, and 8¾" axles, in 1962 - 1972 Plymouth and Dodge B-bodies. A set of 8 black phosphate hardened locknuts (w/ non-marring face) is included.
    Does not fit 7
    ¼" axle.
    What you need to know:
§ U-bolts Made in USA, nuts made in Canada
§ Correct black Phosphate coated, not "gold" or "silver" parts-store crap
    §
    Most important
: These are correctly "flattened", and have the waffle "gripper" pattern. This prevents crimping the axle housing and the resultant housing-to-perch weld breakage in high-HP applications.
§ Nuts are 150,000 PSI locknuts, black phosphate, non-marring washer face. Torque to 52 ft./lbs
