Stunning Dominick & Haff footed tray.
Perhaps for calling cards.
Exceptional detail with concentric bands of beading, egg & dart motif and the outside rim decorated with beading with leaf designs interspersed.
All this resting on three fully developed paw feet complete with ball and claw.
The condition is very good—to excellent.
There is age=appropriate surface wear and one very shallow indentation/crease on the face of the tray
at around 5 o’clock.

Bigelow Kennard was prestigious Boston jeweler.

which might be a family appraisal # or, inventory #.
The “8 IN” probably refers to the tray’s size.
Also stamped with the Dominick & Haff mark of a rounded lozenge with 925 written inside a circle, and a lozenge with the date of 1903 inside.
Dominick & Haff made very high-quality silver pieces.
This fine tray was donated to the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, Brookline (oursaviourbrookline.org) by the family of Samuel Parkman Shaw.
The monogram in the center of the tray ends in “S” for Shaw
