US ARMY 7th INFANTRY DIVISION NCBU DI DUI Green Screw Back IN THEATER Made KOREA

Up for auction are a pair of DI/DUI for the US Army 7th Infantry Division.  I had read that this is considered NCBU meaning Non-Color Bearing Unit.  The pins bayonet measures 1 5/8 inches long.  The pins are approximately 1 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide.  The pins look really nice and have green plastic screw backs.  They do not push on or pull off.  I believe these were made in Korea but I don't know the exact age.  These came from an estate where the soldier served at the end of WWII, Korea and into Vietnam.  The metal is lighter than brass, non ferrous and looks like it was chromed over another metal.  The enamel looks very good.  There is an 'L' marked on one device.  I'm assuming this was for the left side.
