    Description

    This is a Korean War era VF-84 (later designated VA-86)  Sidewinders squadron patch being offered here.  The patch is fully embroidered with a merrowed edge and Japanese made. It was once attached to scrap book and has traces of glue on the reverse side.
    This patch was used by the squadron during the time the squadron was flying the  F9F-5 Panther. Received directly from the estate of the veteran who joined the squadron in 1953.
    With the exception of my late father's USN aviation career related patches I'm selling off my entire original USN A-4 Skyhawk related squadron patch collection. So stay tuned!
