    Description

It measures 84" by 68" across and weighs 4 lbs unboxed; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
It was made by the Peerless Woolen Mills, which at the time operated a plant in Cleveland, TN. It was a division of Burlington Mills. The woolen mill went out of business around 1961.
The purchase order seems to have been issued by the Marine Corps Depot of Supplies of Philadelphia.
As you see in the label, the blanket was made with several types of wool, virgin and reprocessed, plus 15% Dacron, which is a polyester fiber made by DuPont.
