Vintage Leather Hand Painted Photo Album Military Korean War
Photographs of Guam Military Base 20th AF 1950 and more . . .
Over 65 photos, post cards, clippings, money, Domain of the Golden Dragon Certificate and much more in an oversized leather (14 x 12 inch) album with hand painted front cover. Includes both black and white and color photos of base life. Shots of Bob Hope, USO, Marilyn Maxwell, General Gilkerson, jeeps, aircrafts, boys at work, boys at play, landscapes, troop transport, villages, Tumon Bay, maintaining B-29’s, more. Album shows no repairs, some photos may be missing?  Loose photos found in the back of the album are included, also included is a 24 page booklet in excellent condition: "Guam - The Gem of Micronesia" by Jack Vanatta, Southland Printing, 1947.
Auction also includes a very rare Restricted USAF Flight Chart dated 1950, 3rd Classified edition #AN-134. of Korea and Honshu. Chart is in excellent condition for age, very colorful and suitable for framing. Very large at 4 x 4 1/2 feet.

Condition: Photos:  Most are very good and sharp and clear. Some photos have exposure/fading from light age issues.  Light from picture taking may effect quality of pictures presented for view, but photos are nice.  Front and back album boards are in excellent condition with no separation or tears, just minor edge wear.
