    Description

    Real wood "Wooden Nickel" from the Mancelona (Michigan) Tavern listing proprietors Hank & Dot Cole. Looks like 1960's to 1970's era. Mancelona is east of Traverse City in northern lower Michigan. One internet site lists this as closed but it is still there, perhaps closed seasonally or due to pandemic. I think I was there several years ago - stayed away from crowd congestion in Traverse City.
